Popular Defense By Patriotic Media
Following the repeated harassment of informers probably in concert abroad, some national media have insurgent against what should be called the imposture of foreign forces against Cameroon. A reaction that contributes to the defense of the image of Cameroon, tarnished these days by a series of misinformation which, far from being innocent most often, aim at operations of hostilities and destabilization cleverly orchestrated.

The consistency of accusations, reports, or rhetoric accusing the governance of Cameroon is real and now concerns all fertile sectors, ranging from politics to football, from the economy to social security. This nonsensical process, which successively piles up series of denigrations that can be correlated with trivial events or instrumental themes, is an explosive modus operandi. By way of illustration, the community problem that arises today in the Central African Republic has sprouted on a fertile ground on which has been rooted over the days, misinformation starting from a very imaginative manipulation. We remembered that some major international channels have conscientiously applied themselves to a neighbourhood problem, cultural joke for a country that lived rather in a tolerant community mix. An hour did not pass without excite the consciences of Central Africans with hateful images followed by totally inappropriate analyses and far removed from the anthropological reality of this people.
The firebrand is burning today but no one can extinguish it; the arsonists well in the shade have reached their fatal objectives. Fournier’s hostages in Cameroon are also remembered. During their captivity, this press in search of the sensational had then located sordid interests even before the safety of the children Fournier. Fortunately, despite all that is said at this period, Cameroon once again showed tact and diplomacy, far from political speech, closer to efficiency. With the help of the campaign, all subjects are good as long as they are hot. This is how the editorial lines of the major media are built that today go beyond their mission to inform and are ultimately a sounding board of international relations. What is annoying are the same markers exhibited with variable geometry under the sole prism of geographical coordinates. As according to this principle, the same causes do not necessarily produce the same effects. Attention, one can be thief under certain skies and discover a virginity elsewhere criminal. In short, the fight for sovereignty is a leitmotiv for every citizen as President Paul Biya has always urged. He himself stands out as an excellent strategist alternating soft and hard power.
However, there is no disappointment in following the dissonances amplified by the media, which have lost all objectivity.
It is a pleasure to know that some of our media are clearly focused on the essential issues of sovereignty and intend to fight by symmetrical methods, this crusade of misinformation orchestrated against Cameroon. These were able to hold the high drama to this invisible team decided to proceed to a coup in Cameroon. Their prospectives were unfortunately mistaken thinking that by igniting the wick under national unity, they would get the break. Lost sentence, and as President Paul Biya said recently in Maroua addressing the populations of the North West and South West, it is only in unity that they will emancipate themselves.
